What I paint:
My acrylic work is impressionist/abstract and textured, with loose and energetic brushstrokes.
My pen and ink house portraits are representational, using pen and ink and watercolor.
My custom work is impressionist. I offer "slice of life" paintings done from candid photographs, where the focus is the activity of the person instead of the likeness.

Whether playing on the beach or petting a puppy, children are expressive! I try to catch the essence of the moment.

Commissions of homes for families, for realtors, and for businesses are rendered in in pen and ink and watercolor. This is original work - no computers involved here! I work from photos.
